PRO2-F Coated Tie-Bar Frame

The PR02-F is a quality, reliable plate heat exchanger frame that is used to heat or cool one fluid by transferring heat between it and another fluid. Plate exchangers conserve both material and labor resources, reducing up-front costs and future operational costs.

The frame is supplied for plate expandability with all eight ports available for future duty expansions and terminals available to safely separate heating, cooling, or regeneration sections.

The plates are made of a heavy 0.7mm thick 316 stainless steel with a high quality sanitary finish. It features an improved heat transfer pattern and a wide gap to resist fouling, line-contact support points to increase the life of the plate, an increased entrance area cross-section to decrease pressure loss, and solid metal-to-metal contact to allow high operational pressures.
