The FPX is the pump of choice for most conventional applications and features the same high performance pump head as the FP. Its superior value results from its mounting style, a quiet and smooth run, and the use of a single internal seal only.
It’s the pump of choice for standard applications, including product transfer; CIP supply; and pumping to llers, separators, and heat exchangers.
The pump’s heavy-duty construction allows it to withstand more hydraulic shock and cavitation, which typically ruins pump. Internal clearances are as tight as 0.5 mm, making the pumps highly efficient and very gentle on product.
The internal seal uses the cooling and lubrication of the product to provide longer seal life and the ‘optimized vane angle’ design of Fristam impellers maximizes efficiency and allows for low NPSH requirements.
