AGC Silencer
The Silencer™ dampens pulsation by absorbing hydraulic pressure peaks caused from pumps, valve actuation or other mechanical action. A rubber sleeve expanding against a gas chamber equalizes the pressure spike. The destructive pulsation is transferred into the gas chamber not into your process equipment.
The standard unit includes tri-clamp end connections, assembly tools, and a 1/8” air chuck. It is installed directly into your product line as close as possible to the source of the pulsation. Once installed the unit is charged with gas to 10-15 PSIG. Reverse osmosis systems should be charged at 90-100 PSIG. The Silencer™ is completely CIP capable by normal procedures.
